dispatched to keep any commercial customer rolling. Using
Solideal press-ons,
that are manufactured from 100 percent natural rubber, Redwood General's
technicians will come to your facility and replace the press-on tires. The
natural rubber press-ons give lower rolling resistance, greater chunk and tear
resistance, low heat build-up and less static electricity "shocks". Natural
rubber compounds are 15 percent more resistant to chemical absorption.
Solideal gives a life
time, non-slip on wheel guarantee for their solid pneumatics. The non-marking
tire is available in both press-on and solid pneumatic. They wear as well or
better than a black tire. Call today for a free inspection and quote on your
special solid tire needs.
Tires are made in three-stage construction, with the exception of the extra
rugged press-on which is made in two stages. These tires have the following
advantages:
 | Lifetime non-slip on wheel guarantee for solid pneumatics. |
 | 50 percent to 80 percent deeper lugs. |
 | 6 percent to 14 percent less rolling resistance than any synthetic
electrical compound. |
 | 12 percent to 22 percent softer ride than other companies' "soft" tire. |
 | 28 percent less head build-up than synthetic rubber. |
 | 15 percent more resistance to chemical absorption. |
In most cases,
Solideal/Adtrak non-marking tires will wear as well or better than black
tires. Solideal/Adtrak
is the largest industrial tire manufacturer in the world. All
Solideal/Adtrak
products are manufactured with new ECR compound for tough heavy-duty
applications, with greater wear and/or resistance. Solid
pneumatics are available in a flat smooth in the following sizes at Redwood
General Tire:

700x12 |

Special Service Retreading: What to Expect
Savvy business owners looking to preserve their capital will want to consider the
retreading process now available at Redwood General Tire. The patented new process is
specially designed to process solid rubber and filled tires on their rims. We use
exclusive special service tread rubber, especially applications,. Tread is 75 Durometer
hardness, as compared to truck compounds which are usually 62 to 65 hardness.
By taking advantage of the new technology, only available at Redwood General Tire,
industrial users can recondition a worn-out tire and save significantly over the cost of
new industrial tires. The retreading process can achieve equal or better performance than
the new tire gave at half the price.
Redwood General's process builds tires back to their original diameter. Solid rubber
tires never wear out. Our process allows us to build the tire in 1/8 inch increments, so
we will match tires in diameter or build back to the original diameter. Our process solves
flat spot or out-of-round tires. Tires are buffed on patented burrs that true tires with
the precision of a lathe. We can do so with a variety of tread designs so they can fit
your specific application. Normal tread designs are deep traction, lug or smooth, but we
can obtain any tread normal available for truck tires.
By using retreads, our customers save about half of the cost
of a new tire.
Industrial retreads, like new industrial tires, cost more than normal retreads,
but the added performance far outweighs the slight additional cost. |
